GHFA Premier League

The GHFA Premier League is the highest league competition in GHFA. The GHFA Premier League commenced in 1977, with a second division added in 1983 (known as Premier League Division 2, or as currently known, Super League). In 2013 the Premier League was renamed Super League, with the two divisions being Super League 1 & 2. Super League 1 was renamed Premier League in 2014.

The format of the Premier League and Super League competions is a squad based, first grade and reserve grade competition. Competition is open to all Clubs with the restriction of each Club allowed only one squad in either Premier League or Super League.

The GHFA Cup was introduced in 2011, a knockout style tournament for Premier League and Super League teams. In 2014 this was extended to All Age Division 1 teams.
